Terms and Conditions

for Strategic Advancement Courses, Online Communities, and Coaching Programs
Effective Date: January 20, 2025 (Updated September 2025)


1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms and Conditions ("Agreement") are a legal contract between you ("User," which includes teachers, students, guardians, and other Participants) and Strategic Advancement Corporate & Education Consulting, Inc. ("Strategic Advancement," "we," or "us"). This Agreement governs your access to and participation in our online courses, student and educator communities, coaching programs (1:1 and group), and digital platforms (collectively, the "Services").

By enrolling, registering, or otherwise participating in our Services, you agree to these Terms and our associated Privacy Policy.


2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to access educator programs. If under 18, your participation (particularly in student programs or networks) must be authorized by a parent, guardian, or educational institution. Users under 13 may only access age-appropriate services with verifiable parental consent under COPPA compliance.


3. Enrollment & Registration

Enrollment may require registration through our online platform and payment of applicable fees. We reserve the right to reject or revoke access at our discretion.


4. Scope of Services

Strategic Advancement provides access to courses, content, coaching, downloadable materials, interactive modules, and online network/community features. Materials may include video, live sessions, worksheets, PDFs, assessments, and discussion forums. Access may be time-limited based on your registration type.


5. Community & Network Guidelines

Our online communities and network spaces are designed to promote professional and student growth. You agree to:

  • Engage respectfully and professionally

  • Avoid any behavior deemed discriminatory, harassing, offensive, or inappropriate

  • Refrain from advertising or soliciting without written permission

We reserve the right to moderate and remove content or suspend accounts that violate these terms.


6. Payment & Refunds

Fees are clearly displayed at time of registration and may vary by service. Strategic Advancement reserves the right to modify fees without retroactive effect. Refunds (if applicable) will follow the terms outlined at point of purchase.


7. Licensing and Intellectual Property

All course content, community materials, and resources are the intellectual property of Strategic Advancement and its licensors. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the content for personal, non-commercial educational use only.

You may not copy, share, distribute, or modify our content without express written permission.


8. Confidentiality & Community Privacy

Strategic Advancement agrees to protect sensitive information shared in coaching, educational cohorts, and communities in accordance with applicable privacy laws (including FERPA and COPPA, when applicable).

Users are expected to respect the confidentiality of others within courses and communities. Screenshots, recordings, or reposting of other users’ content is prohibited without consent.


9. Data Privacy and Compliance (FERPA, COPPA, SB 29)

If our services are used in K–12 educational settings, we comply with applicable student data privacy laws, including:

  • FERPA: Student educational records are protected and disclosed only with proper consent or under allowable exceptions.

  • COPPA: If we knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, we will obtain verifiable parental consent and provide mechanisms for review and deletion.

  • Ohio SB 29: When operating as a school technology provider, Strategic Advancement enters into appropriate Data Privacy Agreements (DPAs) with school districts and ensures subcontractors meet equivalent security and privacy obligations.

We do not sell, license, or share personal information of students, teachers, or participants for commercial gain.


10. Security Measures

We maintain administrative, physical, and technical safeguards to protect user data from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. Breach notification procedures will follow applicable state and federal law.


11. Third-Party Tools and Services

Our Services may incorporate third-party platforms (e.g., Kajabi, Zoom, Google Workspace). We do not control and are not responsible for third-party services’ privacy practices.


12. Disclaimer of Warranties

All services are provided “as is.” Strategic Advancement makes no guarantees regarding performance outcomes, accuracy of content, or results from participation. Coaching and course materials are not substitutes for licensed mental health, medical, or legal advice.


13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Strategic Advancement shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Services.


14. Termination of Access

We may terminate or suspend your access to Services for violations of these Terms or at our discretion. Upon termination, your license to use course content and community features will also end.


15. Dispute Resolution

This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of Ohio. Any disputes shall first be attempted to be resolved through informal discussion. If unresolved, they shall proceed to binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association, with venue in Ohio.


16. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Users will be notified of material changes via email or platform notice. Continued use after notice constitutes acceptance.
